Our “Delightful” Hair’s Tip of Wisdom Saturday Series
January 3 — Opening the Mandala
Entering the Path Without a Self
We begin January with a sangha offering of Chöd, grounding Machig Labdrön’s hair’s-tip wisdom phrases in lived practice. Through offering and resting, we explore what it means to enter the path without reference to self—and to discover the quiet delight of non-fixation.
January 10 — Staying Where There Is No Ground
To Stay in an Unfamiliar Place — Delightful
This session explores groundlessness as a living practice. Through meditation and reflection, we stay with uncertainty, fear, and openness—learning to remain present when the mind seeks escape or resolution.
January 17 — Cutting Social and Spiritual Identity
To Cut the Rope of Saving Face — Delightful
Machig’s wisdom cuts through subtle ego: spiritual identity, conformity, and the need to appear “complete.” This week invites honest inquiry into where fixation hides in respectability and belonging.
January 24 — The Hair’s Tip Itself
To Be Free of All Fixation — Delightful
A quiet, spacious session focused on the most subtle level of clinging. With minimal teaching and extended resting, we explore awareness free from even a hair’s tip of fabrication.
January 31 — Integration
Ema Ho: Delight Without Reference
We close the series by resting in what has already been cut. Less instruction, more trust. This final session emphasizes integration, confidence, and delight that arises naturally from freedom.
